Greetings from the traditional territories of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation, upon which the National Collaborating Centre for Indigenous Health (NCCIH) is located. With the arrival of warm weather and longer days, marked by the summer solstice and Indigenous Peoples Day, I want to highlight the importance of recognizing the resilience and achievements of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. As Interim Academic Lead, I acknowledge the crucial role each of us plays in creating decolonized, culturally safe spaces to honor Indigenous Peoples Day.
