In this article, the authors discuss how racism and climate change interact in ways that disproportionately affect the lives of marginalized people. They link structural discrimination and racism back to colonialism, discuss the unequal distribution of health impacts of climate change, discuss what needs to be done to achieve racial justice in this area, and present values to guide research and action on climate change, health, and structural discrimination.
