In this Master's thesis, the author presents findings from a study investigating and comparing two sets of Pictou Landing First Nation's health data from 2014 and 2019 to assess whether community health and First Nation's relationship to place have improved over time after community members received more autonomy over environmental decision-making. She discusses her findings through the lens of environmental dispossession, repossession, and the Piktukowaq environmental health cultural framework.
