Yukon First Nation Health and Social Development Commission
A partnership between the Health and Social Development Commission and the Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN), this framework articulates a holistic approach to community wellness that reflects the perspectives of First Nations within the CYFN. The framework is guided by principles rooted in the beliefs, values, and traditions of First Nations and based on six themes: traditional ways of being and doing; place, purpose and belonging; healthy living, promotion and prevention; medical, health and social services; mental health and well-being; and supporting First Nations staff.
