The authors explore the experiences of Métis women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people who accessed health and social services in Victoria, BC over the period December 2020 and January 2021. Specifically, the explore hos COVID-19 impacted study participants in relation to their ability to connect with their Métis community and practice their culture, their overall feelings of isolation, the economic impacts of the pandemic, and the ways in which the pandemic exacerbated existing barriers to culturally safey healthcare.
