This article describes the increased vulnerability to socio-economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic among urban Indigenous people. It highlights how the socio-economic challenges they face including poverty and food insecurity, will make it challenging for urban Indigenous people to cover unexpected expenses and cope with the economic consequences of COVID-19.
