This document provides an overview of the Global Plan to End TB and the targets set to be achieved by 2020. It also presents an epidemiologcal profile of TB prevalence among Indigenous peoples globally; discusses challenges in ending TB, including structural and socio-cultural barriers to diagnosis and treatment, existing data gaps, and knowledge gaps around Indigenous perceptions of health; and offers examples of strategies and interventions that work for and with Indigenous peoples. The guide concludes by providing recommendations for community advocates, governments and other stakeholders on moving forward.
