Description

This article aims to inform the development and delivery of Indigenous cultural safety training (ICST) within and across healthcare settings in the Canadian context. The authors undertook an environmental scan of grey and academic literature to identify and describe ICSTs and toolkits, and examined evaluations of ICSTs to highlight promising practices for healthcare institutions and personnel. Based on the findings, the authors offer recommendations for consideration to improve ICST development and delivery.
