This document outlines actions for the Government of Alberta's Ministry of Children's Services to reduce the overrepresentation of Indigenous children and youth in children's services by improving supports for families and strengthening the system to make it safer and more accountable. These actions include fully implementing of Jordan's Principle, committing to reconciliation, integrating meaningful and demonstrable cultural connections into child intervention, using family systems and kinship care, building a strong and reflective workforce, and committing to racism education, among others.
