Caron-Beaudoin, É., & Armstrong, C.G.
The authors investigate how Indigenous Peoples' environmental knowledge and biomonitoring research can inform one another and contribute to more ethical and methodological frameworks and practice to address gaps in Indigenous public and environmental health. They do this by reviewing a biomonitoring pilot research project related to unconventional oil and gas development in northern British Columbia. The authors conclude by discussing ethnical frameworks and best practices in ethnobiological and biomonitoring research.
