The authors maintain that environmental health has benefits for the environment as well as to the physical, mental, and cultural health of Indigenous Peoples. They discuss the implications of this for economic, employment, education, and social policies and argue that a cross-sectoral approach is needed to making investments in programs that help Indigenous people undertake work that maintains environmental health.
