The authors draw on an example of environmental health injustice among Indigenous people living in remote Australia due to inadequate engagement of community members and local health professionals in environmental health decision-making to argue for the inclusion of Indigenous people's environmental knowledge in devising environmental health responses and assessing impacts of environmental factors on remote residents' health and well-being.
