The authors explored the relationship between COVID-19 rates and community infrastructure, drawing on COVID-19 rates and housing and other infrastructure data from Manitoba for 23 of 63 First Nations and 67 non-First Nation communities. The study revealed a strong positive relationship between COVID-19 rates and overcrowded housing, houses needing major repairs, no access roads, and lack of hospitals.
