This article assesses the demographics, presentation, and clinical features of childhood tuberculosis in Canada over the period 2013 to 2016, using data from the Canadian Paediatric Surveillance Program. The study identified the types of tuberculosis, the proportion of cases that led to hospitalization and admission to an intensive care unit, the proportion of cases that resulted in adverse drug reactions, whether the source case was known and who it was, and the rate of reported cases by ethnicity.
